okay, so you know that weird scarf project i was working on last time? well its finished! (actually, it was finished ages ago, i just never got around to posting it.) i tried to make a gif, but the files were to big and then i had to download......okay, never mind about the details, but yeah, my gif making failed. Anyway, my mum looked at the scarf while i was knitting and said, "i wouldn't wear that." thats love. So like most people, my mum fell into the trap of thinking i was just another scrap-yarn scarf...but its actually a........*drum roll*
Sushi scarf!!
i love it so much.
But its actually for a friend....and yes, i know that they 'seaweed' part of the scarf is a little short, but i just never got around to changing it. right now, im working on a bag, i got inspired by a bag off becauseshestartedknitting.blogspot.com its almost done, and its made in the bright orange i used in this scarf >.< i hope i can actually have the courage to wear it outside.
well, thats alll from me,
hope your all having a wonderful end to your week,

Domo-kun jumpers and almost-frogged projects
So a couple of weeks ago my cousin had a baby, and for most of the time she was pregnant i was always meaning to knit the baby something, but kinda put it off in favor of Friends + How I Met Your Mother reruns, so when i heard the news i was immediately running ninja-style to my yarn stash.
Anyway, as i was rummaging through my stash i realized that unless the baby wanted a bright orange cotton concoction, than i had no nice yarn left. But then the next day my darling mother discovered a little market stall, there was a whole pack of pure wool for $10! It was brown, but i thought i would be able to put a teddy of something on it to liven it up.
I got a suggestion from a friend to do a domo-kun sweater, i had no idea who domo-kun was (*bows head in shame*) but a quick google search revealed all, and i thought he was so cute! i couldn't find any domo patterns online, so i had to chart him up myself (obviously, this is a major accomplishment for me because this is the first time i've charted anything up!) so here he is.......
yeah, he's a bit mangled at the sides, but i've sewed him up and he looks fine now :)

Oh, and after i made him, i started on a new project. Its taken me awhile to finish because i keep getting the gauge wrong (i never gauge, because i'm way too lazy, i know i should, and it will help me, but i dont.) i used a variety of yarns, and i'm fully aware of how the orange looks. I've come close to frogging this so many times, but i'm sticking with it :)
happy weekend!

Hello there :)
So, after countless times of going through other peoples amazing blogs, i have started up one myself :) i warn you though, i am terrible at keeping habits and often abandoned things after a short while.....so expect sporadic-ness.....Anyway, i should probably introduce myself, im Belle and i like crafts. (which is terrible, because i have such a short attention span that projects usually end up getting stuffed at the back of the wardrobe, never to be resurrected.) so, this is my blog for all things i havent frogged. enjoy.
